Yet another Sunday, raining.
This neighborhood is really quiet in the morning. Especially when it's been pouring rain. Decided it was a good day to stick close, so took myself out to breakfast with the Sunday New York Times. That newspaper amazes me; as I remember telling James once, with the SF Chron, you'd read a story on the front page, and it continues over to an inner page for, say, one or two more paragraphs, but with the NYT, you go inside, and there's a full page more of story.

Nice lazy day around. Breakfast, then early dinner at Lupa, and Bruno Bakery for dessert. Fortunately the rain let up while I was out.

I felt so New York-y today, with my scarf (non-pashmina!), NYT, and gallon of spring water. By this time next week I'll be almost landing in Oakland. Wonder if I'll be happy or sad.
