Apparently there's this phenomenon when the sunsets line up with the crosstown streets for a cool effect; they call it Manhattanhenge, or the Manhattan Solstice. Great article by, who else, Neil deGrasse Tyson. This year it was July 12. We were here, but we didn't find out about this until July 14, as you can see by our pic on the right.
