Tribute to Out of Gas
Manifesto to the Firefly Episode "Out of Gas." Icons and a little poem, of sorts.
O ut of balance, almost out of time, still and silent in the dark sky
U under the bleeding grate, the backstory flares outward
T ime spirals as the ship gathers her crew, and Mal tries to save the ship
O bstinate, he will not leave; then, help in hand, he is deceived. Turning tables,
F ingers fumble with the engine, then reach helplessly for the red button. Oblivion...
S udden miracle, the
G ang's all here, and Mal slips back into a drowsy vision
