“Dude, where's the pizza?” Charlie called across the room. “Tom! There were four slices left, enough for dinner! Did you eat them all?”

Tom barely glanced up from the computer. “Can you believe this reviewer?” Charlie moved behind him and peered at the screen. “What’s up?”

Tom thrust his fingers through his hair. “She's panning my stand-up act from Friday! Everyone else said I scored!”

Charlie rubbed the other man’s shoulders, then slapped him on the back. "Let it go, baby. Seems working in late-night TV doesn’t toughen you up like the White House does.” Heading to the kitchen, he looked back over his shoulder. “And…if you want to score tonight? You better figure out something for dinner.”
