So my best pal

blue_sunflowers did a comic-book thing based on one of my very first fanfics--Cancelled, based on the CW show, Reaper. The whole thing was a spoof on our little TWOP fandom group, who were on tenterhooks about the show being renewed for a Season Two. (Which, against all odds and ratings, it was.) As Blue says: "We campaigned heavily for a Season Three, but didn't get it. There was significant talk at the time of turning it into a comic book, which is the inspiration for this entry."

Summary:

Sam's got a new soul to catch, and the Devil's not making it easy. This time, Sam may have met his match. While the trio has faced danger before, it's never been this horrifying. Join them as they try and capture the most dangerous soul of all: a disgruntled fangirl.

Opening: We’re entering a dimly-lit warehouse. “Nina! Are you home, baby?” Ben. Aww, he calls her “baby.” And he’s carrying flowers. A glob of something that looks like blood falls on his arm. Then, out of the shadows, a large figure comes flying in on a nice, low trajectory. Pulls up to stand in front of him—a smallish demon. It steps in his direction, says “Oops!” in a gurgly voice, and shakes itself into…Nina! In a cute sundress.

Saw this in several places. Since this is my first foray, I thought something short and structured would be good to start. Kinda weak, but I swore not to edit.
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.
