[blue sunflower] just remember not to be cranky at your sister, or the flight attendants

[cko] well i do find flight attendants slightly annoying how did you know

[cko] well i've got a pile that's more than 6 outfits
[cko] now to winnow down

[cko] so now i have this gargantuan stack of clothes
[cko] all i can say is, i hope wearing black is not out of fashion

[blue sunflower] she's whining because she's only bringing six outfits, and has chosen too many and has to winnow down
[blue sunflower] for a MONTH
[kathyk] you will have your own washer and dryer right?

[cko] blue i am not the fashion plate that you are
[blue sunflower] there are at least 7 days in a week!

[cko] i'm not bringing any socks!

[kathyk] but if you are doing laundry you don't need to bring everything you own i'd bring ten outfits in case you go somewhere formal ck black in summer you'll roast

[cko] i'm saving THAT advice
[blue sunflower] 10 at least doesn't make you look like a goth who never changes
[kathyk] you dont want to pay a ton in baggage fees either
[cko] true, i'm only taking one roller bag
[cko] i sent some stuff fed ex too

[cko] mostly giveaways for party favors/gifts
[cko] plus two pairs of shoes

[kathyk] take lighter clothing it will break 80 someday
[blue sunflower] make sure to bring those carryon
[blue sunflower] when i moved to dc they stole my bag that had all my underwear and shoes
[cko] oh i didn't think of that blue
[blue sunflower] so i only had my pair of heels to walk around in
[blue sunflower] always put at least one pair in your bag
[blue sunflower] esp if something happens and you have to do an overnight
[blue sunflower] like if your flight is canceled
[cko] oh gosh
[cko] now your prediction will come true and i won't sleep
[blue sunflower] tylenol pm!
[kathyk] blue i wear one pair of sneakers all the time put a change of clothes in your carryon too
[blue sunflower] kathy - ck thinks she'll actually sleep tonight, esp since she's going to bed after 1am
[blue sunflower] i just laughed

i double the sock sentiment if it's not too late. you're going to new york, you're going to walk everywhere like a native (if you take a taxi more than once i week i'm disowning you). walking loads in sandals will suck balls!
