Nothing presents a more malevolent force than white men in suits--and don't they know it. Bringing together intelligence, ruthlessness, power, and money to bend heaven, earth, and hell to their will, these four make an unholy alliance in designer ties and french cuffs. (Except for Henry, of course, who presents a deceptively rumpled appearance.)

Lindsey McDonald brings the super-smarts and legal know-how to run the business end. His lowly antecedents have given him a chip on his shoulder that makes him especially volatile and dangerous when he feels put down. The Devil, aka Jerry Belvedere, has all of Hell's minions at his beck and call--well except for the ones that keep escaping. His love of the good life: booze, women, and fast cars, can sometimes distract him from the business at hand. He also has a streak of sentiment that makes him vulnerable, but his rage and evil powers make him a formindable force. Dulaque has an eternal lifetime of evil finely honed, making him a frighteningly successful persuader, though his arrogance can cause him to overreach. And Henry Parrish, aka Jeremy Crane, has telekinesis like The Devil, legal knowledge like Lindsey, and centuries of evil history like Dulaque. When they work together they can slay foes, take over corporations, and wield political force, all to their own selfish ends.

The only chance for humankind is that their lust for power and wealth may create internecine warfare, where they turn on each other and explode their own potential. We can only hope...
