Sherlock, Elementary
01: OTP and why? I'm really looking forward to seeing whether he gets together with Fiona. I think it could bring out a great side of him, and could really be a cool romance.
02: brOTP and why? Joan, of course. Love their matey, combative, supportive relationship.
03: NOTP and why? I know that he was obsessed and entranced by Irene Adler, but, though I love Natalie Dormer and enjoyed the twists regarding that character, other than his occasional references to the relationship, I'll be glad if they end "her character." (Not crazy about the letters from prison and all.)
04: First moment you knew you liked this character and why? Actually he took a while to grow on me. I adore JLM, but I think it was because he and Watson didn't have great chemistry until a few episodes in. (Actually, I think it was when I saw the tattoos.)
05: Favorite line from this character and why? "Your romantic inclinations are not a flaw to be corrected; they're a trait to be accepted. I know you, Watson. I know you'll never be happy within the confines of a "traditional relationship" and I said what I said because it pains me to see you try to fit into one simply because it is the default mode of polite society." (3.07)
06: Favorite scene for this character and why?
07: One way in which you relate to this character and why? I love his ability to say straightforward, even rude things, but it doesn't come off as rude because it's not personal, in a weird way. I wish I could do that.
08: Something this character does/has done that embarrasses you and why? He's pretty embarassing overall, but like above, you learn to not take it that way.
09: Teddy Bear or Troublemaker and why? Troublemaker for sure, due to all the abruptness and ability for violence and stuff. But could have a teddy bear side, especially maybe with Fiona.
10: One thing you would like to see happen to this character? Keep on as he is, but unusually for me I'd be happy to see him get together with Fiona and have a bit of romance.
Joan Watson, Elementary
01: OTP? I like to see her date, but not in a longterm relationship. Like Sherlock says, I think she is better suited to polyamory.
02: brOTP? Sherlock, of course, for reasons stated above, but I also like her working friendship with Marcus, they have good simpatico, and with the Captain, because she is one person he can really trust to talk to.
03: NOTP? Mycroft! Both because I didn't see any chemistry between the actors, nor plausibility between the characters.
04: First moment you knew you liked? I don't remember exactly. I had a bit of trouble warming up to her, too. Maybe the first time she showed her steely side...
05: Favorite line? You sure this new interest in my safety has nothing to do with watching two women engage in some foxy boxing? (Sherlock: You think you're foxy?)
06: Favorite scene? Any scene where she sits down with someone and asks them how they are doing. She has a lovely mix of compassion and practicality.
07: One way in which you relate? The mix of compassion and practicality! I aspire to that!

09: Teddy Bear or Troublemaker? Teddy Bear, but with an inclination for troublemaking that occasionally gets unleashed. And she's good at being an emotional troublemaker, in that she encourages others to tap into theirs.
10: One thing you would like to see happen? Her and Sherlock keep working together with no hint of romance, ditto Marcus.
Quentin, The Magicians
01: OTP? Though I'm far from a shipper, I do like that he and Alice are trying a relationship; I'm happy for him! And it's fun to see them fumble around with it.
02: brOTP? Penny! I love their banter, and that they have an unlikely but unmistakable bond due to their ability to connect in a crisis and find each other in weird in-between lands and spaces.
03: NOTP? I find it hard to buy that he and Julia were ever close, but maybe that's because the show started right before they were split up. Would like to see them together more in the future. but for now, don't see it.
04: First moment you knew you liked? I guess the first time he was smartly self-deprecating, it might have even been when he was in bed at the party right at the beginning.
05: Favorite line? [said to Penny] You can't possibly want to be a dick more than you want to live! In fact, most of his lines to Penny.
06: Favorite scene? Where he does the magic with the cards in the Dean's study during the entrance exam. Loved his own wonderment, plus the effects were beautiful.
07: One way in which you relate? I like that, even though he doesn't seem to have dealt really well with "real life," he deals well with the magical world through being slightly sarcastic and adapting quickly.
08: Something this character does/has done that embarrasses? Pretty much everything, but he handles it well! Not hard to watch, except maybe the sex stuff.
09: Teddy Bear or Troublemaker? Teddy bear, but expecting he will be unleashing his inner troublemaker more and more in the future!
10: One thing you would like to see happen? That he be able to visit a version of Fillory that is beautiful, inspiring, and hopeful, rather than ominous, awful, and Beast-y. He deserves it!
