She leans out the window into the cool air, desert sun just rising on the usual horizon. Hugs herself like waking in his arms. So familiar, secure. My life—who, me?

Favorite time. Before the family starts stirring, moving about. Be earlier today than normal. Best guess, this day'll end good as it started. Like the last, and the next. She'd do anything for that.

Eyes change, get steely. Reaches down for the rifle, loud CRACK as she cocks it, aims out the window. Ready.

They say home is where the heart is? For her, it's a Heart of Gold.

Beautiful. I love that we don't get told who it is. It could be any one of a dozen women in the Heart of Gold; could be one of the crew, could be one of the whores.

I also like the choppy style, the short sentences. there are one or two places where it gets almost awkward if you dont read carefully, but overall it brings an excellant mood to the piece. great work :)

100 is very hard! I always find it hard to stick to a single drabble, but i guess its the difficulty that makes it fun for me.

and thank you :) I made it aaaages ago.

Very nice. It's nice to hear a new perspective (I'm making the assumption that this is Nandi and not another of the girls) and knowing what is to come makes this a bit sad as well.

This sounds to me like the madam from the whorehouse (I forget her name) defending her home. I admit this was my least favourite episode but I like the emotion you put into 100 little words. It was powerful.
