Note: I had a hard time with this episode. But...I loved this scene.

Client: White female, 16 years old. GPA: 3.9. Family environment: parents married; father executive, mother homemaker.
Subjective: Client states incident outside her “normal life” experience. Incident “really got to” her. Loss of appetite; no food taken x 24 hours. Discussed personal medical concerns not related to incident. Noted desire to “look on the bright side”—used automobile analogy.
Objective: Rapid speech. Did not make prolonged eye contact. No apparent signs of depression; possible symptoms of anxiety.
Assessment: Client may be exhibiting denial. Observe for late-developing PTSD.
Plan: Recommend referral for strong narcissistic tendencies.
