A Tribute to Sci Fi Pets
I got a hankering for pets in science fiction after an earlier scifiland Big Bang. So here I’m revisiting my admiration with some verses and icons. Big thanks to my pal blue_sunflowers for the creative inspiration, which she always has tons of. (250 words + 10 icons = 20 points)


Scary to Riker.
Puzzling to Data.
Observation Experiment.
Trusted Friend.

Generous with her patience.
Even to Walter.
Never complains.
Except when Peter eats a hamburger.

Very Friendly.
Intelligent.
Never on a leash.
Cute and adorable.
Eager to please.
Nine lives, even though he's a dog.
Took care of himself on the island.     (Lost)


Literally sky high IQ for a dog.
Occasionally seen roaming the town.
Jack's reason for crashing, as he swerved to avoid him in the rain.
Always hunted by Taggart.
Cat and mouse game player with his enemies.
Keeps people in Eureka on their toes.     (Eureka)


Queer little dog.
Unfortunately, loved by Scully.
Eagerly scooped up in her arms.
Even after eating his former owner.
Quick to settle into his new home.
Usually left there during cases, except once.
Eaten by a lake monster.
Good riddance.          (X-Files)



Kompanion robotic pet for

Peaceful.
Often babysat by others when Archer is away.
Really good with people and aliens alike.
Transporter hater.
Happy as Archer's beloved pet.
Obviously well loved.

Always wants to eat cats.
Laughs a lot.
Furry. Very, very furry.

Scaredy cat though.
