I’m usually the least romantic person around, but there’s something about these two that makes me starry-eyed. I think it’s because even with their snark, combativeness, and each-their-own-brand of self-centeredness, that they could even come together is a tribute to their mutual sweetness and emotional depth. And, despite their supreme intelligence, ambition, and obvious lifestyle success, they are both tender and wounded in a way that can, we hope, find comfort with each other.
